Do your remember the story about a teacher that handed out a timed pop quiz to his class. He specially told them several times before the start of the test to “read the direction carefully”. Almost all the children started answering right away, some read a few lines of the directions they began answering. But there was one little girl that read all the directions wrote her name on the top of the paper and turned it over.

We know now that the test was about how well you lesson and follow directions. 

I’m starting to feel like life is just like that test. God is the teacher and we are the students. He’s constantly telling us to follow his word (the bible) and we don’t read the directions it gives us about life. We just jump right into every circumstance that’s put in front of our face without thinking. Never slowing down to really figure out a logical of any situation.

And every time we don’t listen to God’s instructions we get a F on our test.
